At Our Community Leadership Academy, our mission is to provide a diverse array of vocational programs aimed at empowering individuals to achieve personal and professional excellence. Currently, we offer the Community Kitchen program, designed to hone culinary skills, the Community English Second Language program, facilitating language proficiency, and the Community Computer Learning Programs, fostering digital literacy. Through our comprehensive offerings, we strive to cultivate a dynamic learning environment that equips our community members with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in their chosen fields, fostering leadership and success in every endeavor.
Community Kitchen Program
TEACH REACH FEED LEAD
The Community Kitchen Program (CKP) offers refugees, immigrants, and underserved citizens a free 10-week course that teaches the skills and provides the ServSafe® Certification necessary to secure quality employment in Charlotte-area restaurants. Having a strong skill set in food services is a powerful tool for increasing employability and earning potential. The CKP training concentrates on the essentials of the culinary arts.
